Master Technicians

Colusa Tractor Company is proud to have three trained Master Technicians on our staff.  Martin Ramirez, Stuart Stilwell and John Stuck have all achieved the prestigious Master Technician status through John Deere University.  To earn this rating, technicians must engage in continuing education, completing a number of courses in Core classes, Selling and Marketing, Resource Utilization and Product Application.  Achieving a Master Technician rating demonstrates a commitment to excellence and our customers, and a pride in themselves, their work and their dealership.  We applaud the efforts of these fine technicians! 

New Technology

All of our technicians are trained and have access to John Deere's Service Advisor program.  This technology gives our technicians on-the-spot technical diagnostics, parts catalogs, technical manuals, and the most recent information available on Deere's Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC), whether they are in the shop or in your field with the use of a laptop computer. 

Harvester Repairs

We have four harvester technicians available who can handle any of your John Deere combine needs, from the JD105 to the newest JD9860 STS Maximizer Combine. Available for on site repairs and estimates, we also have a fully equipped shop sanctioned for combine repairs. Contact our Service Department at 458-4923 for an estimate, consultation, or repairs.

Stripper Headers

We are fortunate at Colusa Tractor Company to have Mike Murphy as a Service Repair Technician specializing in Shelbourne stripper headers. Please ask for Mike for any of your stripper header needs.

Hauling

Our hauling service is capable of handling most of your agricultural hauling needs. Our lowbed is available seven days a week to meet your hauling needs. Simply contact Bob Byers at 458-4923 during regular business hours, or after hours at 682-6574 to schedule your haul.

Small Engine Repair

With more than 10 years of experience with large and small engine repair, Casey Johnson can handle not only your John Deere equipment, but also Yamaha, Echo, Scotts, Homelite, and many other small engine repairs for the ag, lawn and garden, and home applications - even golf carts! Environmentally Friendly

We are proud to announce that Colusa Tractor Company's Service Department is an environmentally friendly organization. We have invested in a recycling pressure wash system that captures and filters impurities while re-using the wash water and preventing it from entering the underground water supply. This process saves water...a precious commodity in our agricultural community.
